The Valley Hills Federal Credit Union is an independent, member-owned cooperative financial institution whose main principle is “people helping people”. We provide quality, friendly services to the employees of San Bernardino Community College District and their immediate families. The Credit Union is managed by volunteer Credit Union members known as “Board of Directors”. The board of directors is elected by members; each member has an equal vote, regardless of how much he or she has on deposit. Only Credit Union members may serve as directors. The Board of Directors meets monthly to oversee the financial operation of the Credit Union and makes decisions concerning all aspects of the Credit Union operation. Other standing committees include the supervisory committee, which assures that the Credit Union adheres to the general operating procedures and policies of the National Credit Union Administration. All policies and procedures are set in place by the standing committee after approval by the Board of Directors.
For 40 years, we have provided our members with convenience and friendly personal service they can only get at a credit union. Our members are the reason the VHFCU exists today. We are member-focused in everything we do. We will continue our commitment to our members by providing excellent service to every member every time.
